Fiber harvesting occurs in a sustainable and certified way: in spring, when the climate becomes milder, shepherds take the underfleece from Hyrcus goats using “combing”, a process that is completely harmless to the animals. Combing takes place by caressing the goat with a small comb only in the parts of the chin strap and girth, where the fibers are denser, more compact and softer.

One reason for the very high quality lies in the very small amount of the highest quality fibre. Just think that from a single Hyrcus goat you get around 150-200 grams of undercoat every year.

WASHING ADVICE

Remove stains from the stain with Marseille soap, then wash in the washing machine with a very delicate "wool" program and spin max 400 rpm.
